Hotel Brokerage

HREC Investment Advisors® provides access to domestic and international buyers, owners and operators, both those that are most active in the industry and those that invest on a select basis, based on location and hotel product type.  Over the years we have developed marketing techniques that mine the full potential of our extensive database of active hotel investors, lenders and industry players, but also uncover unconventional buyers, lenders and investors.

Hotel Finance

HREC Investment Advisors® has long standing relationships with hotel lenders, both in terms of those active in the refinance of existing properties and those active in new construction.  We constantly update our database of lenders and finance relationships so we are current on underwriting criteria and lender hot buttons.  As such, each time we bring an opportunity forward to a target lender, we have a higher success of converting that relationship into a closed transaction.

HREC Investment Advisors® also is active in the mezzanine debt and equity markets, having arranged complex capital structures that meet the needs of our clients and often times providing the last piece of the puzzle in putting a transaction in place.

Equity Placement

Investment Banking

HREC Investment Advisors® has a history of serving as a trusted advisor to hotel investors, hotel companies and lenders active in the industry.  As such, we are often called upon to provide investment advice to our clients, which may include:

  • Strategic planning for individual properties and portfolios
  • Exploring capital markets - including debt and equity for specific assets and companies
  • Mergers and Acquisition arrangement and consultation
  • Workouts on distressed hotel real estate

We maintain strategic alliances with specific real estate investment banking firms that specialize in both debt and equity capital markets that allow us to fully service the needs of our clients, most notably in capital formation.  As such, we have access to equity and debt capital from Europe, North America and Asia, with professionals in each part of the world that maintain personal contact with these capital sources.  HREC Investment Advisors® has worked on numerous projects with our strategic investment banking partners and has developed a strong rapport with those firms forged over many years, resulting in a unique ability to structure a multi-firm team on a project-specific basis that fully meets the needs of the client.
