O'Connell Hospitality Group - June 2000 to August 2016 - Senior Vice President - Provided debt placement and sales brokerage services to institutional and private investors, as well as REIT’s, CMBS special servicers and regional lending institutions.
- Successful engagements include achieving maximum sale proceeds for Private Investors, REO lenders and special servicers with hotel sale transactions within the Northeast.
- Involved in over $250 million in hotel sales and debt assignments.
- Achieved successful construction, bridge and acquisition financing projects for client base.
Bedford Capital Corporation - June 1994 to May 2000 - Senior Managing Director - Hotel Division - Head of Hotel investment division for this boutique investment banking company.
- Worked with Pension funds, Life Insurance companies, CMBS, REIT’s and regional and national banks providing debt within the hotel and resort industry.
- Established a strategic alliance with Allied Capital Corp. of Washington, DC as a correspondent SBA hotel lender in the Northeast.
- Successfully refinanced a regional hotel portfolio allowing the company to construct a highly successful select service hotel in a “high barrier to entry” location within minutes of downtown Boston.
Hilton/Intercontinental Hotels – May 1982 to May 1994 – Executive Management – General Manager positions with five nationally franchised full-service hotel’s within the greater Boston metro market.
- Directed all operational and marketing efforts for a Four Diamond Hilton Full Service Hotel from 1987 until 1992.
- Worked for Peabody Hotel Group as General Manager for their Boston based IHG properties from 1982 until 1986.
