    • Facilitated distressed note purchase/discounted payoffs for over $30 Million dollars directly from lenders such as Cecil Bank, LNR Partners and TD Bank which were looking to sell due to financial regulation pressures and defaults by the borrower

    • Facilitated off market disposition of $15 Million dollars’ worth of hotel assets where owners were looking to sell on an off market basis

    • Facilitated acquisition of a $9MM hotel asset for a group outside of the hospitality industry looking to invest in a hotel asset. Assignment included helping with valuation and assist new buyer with negotiating purchase price, financing terms, franchise terms, and estimating PIP

    • Completed capital improvements and renovations totaling over $10 Million Dollars on a 3rd party basis for hotel owners to meet franchise standards and improve asset quality

    • Provided valuation and underwriting assistance for Private Equity Firm specializing in distressed debt purchases

  • Northstar Group - Bellmawr, New Jersey - October 2007 to April 2015 - Managing Partner 

    • Leverage relationships with hotel brokers and real estate brokers to find opportunities for acquisition and sites

    • Analyze potential transactions via studying market data, forming pro formas and forming an estimate value

    • Responsible for negotiating franchise agreements when rebranding a hotel or renewing an existing license to maximize value to investors

    • Responsible for all capital improvements – specifically in preparing RFP’s, evaluating bids, negotiating the best price and strict inspection of work to ensure it meets franchise standards and local ordinances

    • Responsible for providing status reports to lenders to ensure properties are fully in compliance with loan requirements on Debt Service Coverage Ratios, franchise covenants, principal and interest payments etc.

    • Responsible for financing and refinancing – specifically by coordinating numerous tasks and documents between lenders, attorneys, franchises to ensure a timely and smooth closing process

  • Accenture LLP - Reston, Virginia - September 2004 to September 2007 - Consultant 

    • Provided vital consulting services in the areas of finance, human resource and information management to large Fortune 500 companies and government agencies such as Hilton Hotels, Barclays Bank and The Transportation Security Administration

    • Providing input to clients on improving and streamlining their processes increase profitability

    • Worked in a dynamic environment to determine what services/deliverables would be needed by client

    • Worked on requirements gathering for updates to Property Management System for Hilton International Hotels

    • Specifically requested by Hilton International Hotels to work on important tasks such as writing reports, and training/supporting employees on new procedures

    • Promoted from Analyst to Consultant after only one year with the firm
